Challenge UNICEF Canada, the Pediatric Chairs of Canada, Children’s Healthcare Canada, and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research consulted youth, parents, researchers, educators, advocates, policymakers, service providers, community, and business leaders across Canada to develop a vision which will help create a stronger, healthier future for this country’s children and youth. The result was Inspiring Healthy Futures (IHF).
Our Role Syntax was engaged by Children’s Healthcare Canada – which oversaw the project – as the sole consultant to manage all aspects of the IHF awareness campaign, from developing all creative assets, strategic positioning narratives, and key messaging, to implementing all media outreach, marketing efforts, and government and stakeholder relations. We developed a brand, brand guidelines, marketing materials, digital assets, and both a website and final report in English and French.
Impact The Inspiring Healthy Futures campaign launched in May 2021 and generated immediate traction, trending on Twitter, securing widespread national media coverage, and earning kudos from the national healthcare community for its innovative approach. Syntax continues to work with Children’s Healthcare Canada on a number of strategic communications plans and campaigns.
